Judith Kravitz Inspirational Breathwork Teacher

Tulku Rimpoche Thubten, Tibeten Buddhist Lama described Judith Kravitz as

‘Judith Kravitz is the most impressive teacher of breath work I have ever encountered in both the east and the west. Her techniques have the power to lead one to have a direct experience of liberation on many levels. You may call it a short cut to enlightenment’

Transformational Breath® (TBr) is described by Judith Kravitz as being the most powerful self-healing modality to bring emotional, mental, and spiritual balance into one’s life.

In 1970, whilst working as a Counselling Minister, Judith experienced a tool called “Rebirthing”. The purpose of this technique is to release trauma sustained at birth. It uses conscious breathing, and connects the breath by removing the pause between the inhale and exhale.

Whilst including conscious breathing in her professional Counselling work, Judith noticed that her use of this tool evolved. The techniques, processes and aims of the session became different. Judith included Kundalini yoga, breath analysis, sound healing, affirmations, and body mapping and that’s part of the story behind how Transformational Breath® (TBr) came into being.

On a personal level, Judith received a diagnosis for throat cancer and took the decision not to have the tumour surgically removed. Instead she took responsibility for healing herself. By making changes to her diet and integrating Transformational Breath® into her daily practice, after several months, she noticed that the lump was gone. Although Transformational Breath® makes no claims about being a cure; there are similar inspirational stories of self-healing in her book Breathe Deeply and Laugh Loudly .

Over the past few years, I’ve been fortunate to receive training by Judith on Level 4a, 4b and 5 to become first, a Certified Transformational Breath Facilitator, and secondly a Trainer.

On the first day of Level4a, she invited me to experience the breath analysis. She observed my breath and told me how she thought I related to myself and others, and how I lived my life.  She explained how changing my breath would bring change in my life.  It was remarkably profound and still is accurate. She helped me to breathe better, and showed me how to use my breath as my “personal therapist”.  Her loving, kind approach made me totally relax, and enabled me to deal with uncomfortable emotions in front of people that I have never met before. I felt safe and soothed.

Judith Kravitz is generous in the way she shares her knowledge and expertise of Transformational Breath® (TB) with people regardless of age, religion, gender, sex, career, nationality, political beliefs, physical condition, and language.  Judith has a deep sense of humour, which enthuses in her relationships with her students and is an integral part of both her personality and teachings. She will tell you what you are good at and encourage you to stretch yourself to bring the best out of you.

Today, she is not only the mother of eight children; she is the mother of 2000 facilitators, and 300 instructors who teach this powerful breath work round the World. Transformational Breath® (TB) has been experienced by hundreds of thousands of people in over 42 countries.
